Our "Parks Methodology” is based on the valorisation of the four "research assets”:
The “research capacities” that the entity can offer for distributed research
The “research products” that the entity can sell on the technology market
The “research projects” that can be turned into spin-offs
The “research magnets” that can attract external players to the park
Management/ Development Company
In order to play the "self-fulfilling prophecy” wisely, the park has to be developed in two phases :
The "Development Company” supports the valorisation of the four “research assets” through four appropriate functions: the Technology Interface, the Technology Transfer Office, the Incubator and the Match-making Entity.
The “Management Company” helps build up the park itself by providing four functions : administration, optimization, attraction and incubation.
As two functions are common between the Development Company and the Management Company, Investparks recommends, when possible, to make the first one evolve into the second one.
